The last free version of HelpMaker IX PDF Manual Designer is released, without any watermarks and fully working freeware. This resolves hundreds of bugs/issues/errors for HelpMaker v7 PDF generation.

HelpMaker IX PDF Manual Designer - version 9.0.10 - 4/January/2010:
- fixes UTF16 bugs with Chinese
- updated Russian, German, French translations
- direct PDF export (works like PDF Editor)
- ZLib update 1.2.3 for PNG reader/writer
- JPeg 1.1 Support
- works with Windows 2008 Server, Citrix Metaframe and Windows v7.
- updated XML parser to better parse UTF16.
- updated PDF 1.3 Support
- works with Windows user-mode security
- undo/redo stack corruption errors resolved

Thanks for this useful PDF tool. Is there a version 9 release of HelpMaker itself yet? I'm using 7.4 at the moment and I want to stay up to date.
